Quality policy
We offer a package of documentation and services to enable a company to evaluate and plan its quality strategy and to develop a customer and quality culture. Quality control over products and services is a key factor in attracting and retaining customers. The results of the study should clarify corporate responsibility to ensure a quality philosophy permeates the business. Higher quality services and prices can support a premium brand and market position. They enable blue-chip companies to sell products & services which are up to four times more expensive than cheaper competitors. Also we find Accounts and IT Depts. expend about 10-15% of their resources correcting transaction and other errors.
BS/ISO accreditation
We assist organisations to introduce a quality programme to attain BS/ISO accreditation. The programme defines quality processes with feedback from order to delivery and support. The benefits of accreditation are improved customer satisfaction, increased sales and reduced costs because quality improvements result in less rework, fewer inspections and less man-time spent on fixes under warranty. Quality accreditation can raise the profile and credibility of small and medium sized companies when bidding for work from large companies - and sometimes it is a condition in a contract. Formal accreditation also needs to be sustained by a regular annual inspection to ensure compliance.
Configuration management (CM)
Configuration management is a process which integrates quality, safety, technical integrity and management control over the life-cycle of assets and products. It documents products, ensures traceability of constituent components, tracks changes, records asset maintenance and staff certification, formalises decisions and controls product development and releases. It is being adopted to pre-empt product liability issues and litigation resulting from product defects and rushed changes. It exposes inconsistencies, poor requirements definition and duplicated effort. It improves product quality, speed and accuracy and provides an audit trail for regulatory product approval or BS/ISO accreditation. CM is essential in aerospace, pharmaceutical, nuclear plant and engineering companies etc where traceability is required.
